FAQ
- What is 3D printing?
3D printers apply material layer by layer. It is controlled using special 3D printer software. The basis for this is a 3D model, which can either be constructed or downloaded.
A fundamental distinguishing feature here is the smallest thickness of the individual layers of the model. The thinner the layer, the finer the surface. This can vary between a few micrometers and a few millimeters.
- What material do you use?
We only use PLA.
- What is PLA?
Polylactide acid or polylactic acid (PLA for short) are synthetic polymers that belong to the polyesters. They are used to make plastic that is obtained from renewable sources (such as corn starch). This makes PLA a biocompatible raw material.
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of PLA?
+ Biodegradable according to DIN EN 13432
+ It is made from renewable raw materials
- Sensitive to heat (from approx. 60 °C) and can only be used to a limited extent in warm environments.
Therefore, please do not leave 3D printed parts in the car in summer!
- Where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide (except to the Russian Federation) with our logistics partner DHL
-
How long does delivery take?
Domestic (Germany) approx. 7-10 working days.
To other EU countries approx. 10-14 working days.
To non-EU countries approx. 10-30 working days + duty clearance
-
Why does shipping take so long?
Each order is made exclusively for the order. It is not a stock item!
When it comes to special requests, such as labeling, this must first be changed in the 3D model.
If you have special color requests, you need to get the right filament with the right color.
- How much is the shipping?
POST worldwide shipment – €2.99 (small parts such as tongues and spacers)
DHL domestic parcel (Germany) – €5.99 (with tracking)
DHL European Union – €16.99 (with tracking)
DHL worldwide parcel outside the EU – €18.49 (without tracking)
